The Global Nutritional Healing Hair Mineral Analysis Program
Ready to Feel Your Best?
The Global Nutritional Healing Hair Mineral Analysis Program is unique because we use hair tissue mineral analysis (HTMA) to analyze your body’s mineral content. Once we receive your HTMA results, we can recommend a specific diet, supplementary nutrients, detoxification protocols, and lifestyle recommendations designed to increase your energy level.

Here’s What’s Included in the Customized Guide to Wellness
Detoxification Protocols
Detoxification is a major focus of Global Nutritional Healing. We don’t force toxins out of your body—we just give your body what it needs to remove these toxins gently and safely through protocols like dietary recommendations, supplements, and lifestyle changes.
Why add detoxification protocols?
Many clients, including children, have sluggish elimination organs, such as the liver, lungs, lymphatic system, colon, kidneys, and skin. So, to help speed up the healing process, one of more of these detox protocols will often be recommended.
Our optional detoxification protocols include:
Near-infrared sauna
Coffee enemas
Castor-oil packs
Epsom salt bath
Liver-gallbladder cleanse
Hand and foot reflexology
Ozone therapy
Colon hydrotherapy
Healthy Food Guideline
Hair tissue mineral analysis allows us to measure how well you metabolize food so we can make dietary recommendations that will help promote healing. Two pioneers in the field guide our work: Dr. George Watson, author of Nutrition and Your Mind, based the concept of metabolic typing on results he saw while researching aspects of human metabolism. Dr. Eck, founder of ARL (Analytical Research Labs, Inc.) was the first person to identify and correlate hair mineral ratios with oxidation types.
Using HTMA we can obtain:
The rate at which your body releases energy from the food you eat (metabolism)
Feedback on whether or not your current diet is right for your body chemistry
Oxidization Analysis
Your results will show if you are a slow, or fast oxidizer—the rate at which your body releases energy from the food you eat, otherwise known as your metabolism.
Slow Oxidation
Eighty percent of all hair charts reveal slow oxidation, meaning these individuals release energy from their food too slowly. To help a slow oxidizer get more energy, we need to speed up the oxidation rate. For these clients, our food guidelines include high-quality proteins, organically grown cooked vegetables, and a moderate portion of specified complex carbohydrates. These foods help to improve blood sugar, support the adrenals and thyroid activity, and boost energy levels.
Fast Oxidation
For clients who release energy from foods too quickly—fast oxidizers—our goal is to slow down the oxidation rate and supply them with more long-lasting energy. Food recommendations include high-quality preferably raw fats and oils, plenty of cooked vegetables, and a daily dose high-quality animal protein. They require fewer carbohydrates than slow oxidizers. Sugars and refined starches are particularly harmful for fast oxidizers.
Your levels of all the toxic metals, minerals, chemicals and biological toxins.
Results are provided for the following:
Toxic metals: At least two dozen, including (but not limited to) cadmium, mercury, copper, lead, arsenic, and nickel.
Toxic forms of minerals: These include toxic forms of the “amigos,” the main three of which are iron, manganese, and aluminum; sometimes chromium and selenium can be toxic forms.
Toxic chemicals: These are found in water, air, food, cosmetics, household products, and more.
Biological toxins: Including millions of bacteria, viruses, fungi or yeasts, and parasites.
Suggested Nutrient Supplements
Thanks to Dr. Paul Eck, founder of mineral balancing science, we know exactly what supplement program to recommend for your HTMA results. Each mineral in the body affects other minerals—no mineral works alone.
For example, taking a little iron to increase your energy can affect many other minerals in your body: sodium, potassium, and manganese levels can rise, while magnesium, calcium, copper, and zinc can go down.
The beauty of this program is that we consider how minerals interact with each other when setting up your supplement program.
Why do we need to take supplements?
Depleted soils
Long transit times for fruits, vegetables, and other foods
Poor eating habits and skipping meals
Age-related digestive issues (decrease in stomach acid)
Malabsorption
Hybrid crops with fewer nutrients
Food processing, which can lower nutrient quality
Stressful lifestyles
Here are some examples of poor lifestyle choices:
Being sedentary
Staying indoors all day
Going to bed late and getting up early
No exercise/movement of the body
Leading a hurried, chaotic lifestyle
Eating on the run
Skipping meals
Eating too fast and/or not chewing food well
Negative thinking/self-talk
Not forgiving or loving yourself
Smoking, alcohol, and drugs
Not drinking enough water
Taking stimulants to stay energized
Never having time for you
Suggested Lifestyle Changes
What is lifestyle? It’s how we live our lives from day to day and includes our habits and attitudes. A constantly on-the-run lifestyle can stress our bodies and deplete us of vital nutrients. When we’re low in these vital nutrients, our system replaces them with toxic metals such as mercury, copper, cadmium, aluminum, and others—and our body becomes a bunch of replacement parts that don’t work as well as the original parts. A healthy lifestyle significantly enhances the speed with which our body chemistry rejuvenates.
Our daily habits become who we are. By making small changes in our lifestyle, we can make huge differences in our health. Your practitioner can help you reach your healthy lifestyle goals. Remember, this takes time and patience: It took years to get where you are, and it will take time to get to where you want to be.

Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis FAQs
-
What is hair tissue mineral analysis and why should I get tested?
Checking for 21 nutritive and toxic minerals, the hair tissue mineral analysis is a screening (not diagnostic) tool that measures the mineral content of your hair. That, in turn, tells us a lot about the mineral content of your body’s tissues.
If a mineral excess or deficiency shows up in your hair sample, chances are you have a mineral imbalance in the body, too, or that the mineral is bio-unavailable (i.e., the body can’t use it).
Then there are those frustratingly mystifying ailments people endure for months and even years, with no diagnosis or cure.
Hair tissue mineral analysis also gives us crucial information about your metabolism, energy levels, carbohydrate tolerance, stress levels, nervous-system balance, heavy metal toxicity, kidney and liver stress, adrenal and thyroid activity, immune system, trends for physical, mental, and emotional conditions, and more.

How do I get started with the Global Nutritional Healing (GNH) Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis Program?
One of our certified practitioners will guide you through the simple process. Just go to the practitioner page and select someone you’d like to work with.
Note: the practitioner does not have to live or work in your area; the entire process can be done remotely.
-
What does the GNH Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis Program entail?
After choosing a practitioner, you will then complete the steps for your Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis test. With your HTMA results, we can recommend a specific diet, supplementary nutrients, detoxification protocols, and lifestyle recommendations to increase your energy level. It is then up to you to follow the protocol.
-
Once I start the Global Nutritional Healing Hair Mineral Analysis program, how quickly will I notice improvements?
Some clients see immediate results. We’ve performed more than 60,000 hair tissue mineral analysis tests, and our experience is that most people notice improvement within the first four months. It depends on where your mineral levels are and how well you’re able to adhere to the customized program.
-
How is the Global Nutritional Healing Hair Mineral Analysis Program different from other programs?
Our paradigm is completely customized. Once we complete your hair tissue mineral analysis, we design a program that is tailored to your exact biochemical needs, based on the results of your hair tissue mineral analysis test.
We take a holistic health approach, meaning we don’t just provide results and send you on your way. We work closely with you to establish dietary guidelines, prescribe nutrient supplements, suggest detoxification protocols, and recommend lifestyle adjustments that promote healing. In other words, you don’t do this alone—you work closely with a practitioner/mentor throughout the entire process.
In addition, our program doesn’t focus on alleviating symptoms, but on correcting your biochemistry so those symptoms fall by the wayside—a far healthier and more permanent solution than trying to chase and suppress symptoms with drugs and other temporary quick fixes.
Finally, with regular retesting, we continue to monitor improvements and make any modifications necessary for restored health and vitality. In other words, we’re by your side for the long haul, partnering with you for complete transformational healing.
If you have additional questions about hair tissue mineral analysis, we’d love to answer them. We’re here to support you!

What lab do you use for hair tissue mineral analysis?
For a variety of reasons, we prefer ARL (Analytical Research Labs, Inc.).
Accuracy. Unlike most labs, they don’t wash hair samples, as it’s been shown to dilute or completely wash out water-soluble elements, creating less accurate results.
Leading-edge. ARL uses the most precise and technologically advanced testing equipment, including the Perkin Elmer Elan 9000 ICP Mass Spectrometer.
Diligence. ARL is diligent about quality control, testing at the beginning, middle, and end of every hair-sample batch to ensure accuracy of results.
Cautious. They err on the side of caution: Any reading that’s outside the normally expected range gets retested (provided sufficient hair is available for a second sample)
Simplification. They simplify it for us and for you: Test results are printed on easy-to-read-and-interpret graphs, unlike some of the gobbledygook we’ve seen at other labs. Graphs reveal info like mineral results, major mineral ratios, oxidation type, and more.
Back to the Source. Unlike other labs, they offer complete, individualized hair testing interpretations using the methods developed by their founder, the late Dr. Paul C. Eck.
